Reading Time: 3 minutes

On Wednesday night, The Masked Singer Season 6 returned for a Thanksgiving-themed episode as Group B performed again. Guest judge Joel McHale joined the panel in guessing who was behind the masks.

At the end of the night, new wildcard Beach Ball was revealed to be Honey Boo Boo and Mama June from the reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Meanwhile, Jenny McCarthy teased us by almost hitting the Take It Off Buzzer, but then changing her mind.

‘Masked Singer’ Wildcard Beach Ball Is Honey Boo Boo, Mama June

Tonight’s episode introduced us to the final wildcard of the season, the Beach Ball. They mentioned that they’ve been in the spotlight for a long time and recently reconnected with someone important after joining the show.

For their first performance, the Beach Ball sang “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus. When the ball revealed itself to have two faces, the judges realized that there might actually be two people inside it. Guesses included Snooki and JWOWW and the Kardashians.

There really wasn’t much question that Beach Ball gave the weakest performance of the episode, so it wasn’t surprising when they were eliminated at the end of the night. As it turns out, there really were two people in the costume — reality stars Honey Boo Boo and Mama June.

Mama June shared that she recently reconnected with her kids after struggling with addiction.

Jenny McCarthy Almost Hits the Take It Off Button for Caterpillar

We’ve been waiting all season for one of the judges to use the new Take It Off Buzzer, so we were on the edge of our seats when McCarthy announced that she knew who was under the Caterpillar mask. Robin Thicke got the button out for her, and she came this close to pushing it before chickening out.

Caterpillar had performed “It’s Gonna Be Me” by N*SYNC. It was an appropriate song choice, because the judges guessed three out of the group’s five members when discussing who it might be. McCarthy guessed JC Chasez, having deduced from the clues that Caterpillar might be adopted.

Despite thinking McCarthy’s guess was obviously wrong, Nicole went on to suggest that it could be fellow N*SYNC member Lance Bass. McCarthy also brought up Joey Fatone, who already appeared on the show in a past season.

Is Queen of Hearts the Best Singer Ever on the Show?

The strongest performance of Wednesday night came from the Queen of Hearts, who changed her song at the last minute and came out with a soaring rendition of “River” by Bishop Briggs. The judges were blown away, with McCarthy saying they’re the greatest artist to ever appear on the show.

Guesses for the Queen of Hearts included Kacey Musgraves, Jessica Simpson, and Jewel. Whoever it is under that mask, they’re clearly a frontrunner this season. Let us know if you agree with McCarthy in the comments below.
