‘The Masked Singer,’ More Talent Shows Nominated at Kids’ Choice Awards

The 2022 Kids’ Choice Awards nominees were just announced, and The Masked Singer is up against several other talent shows, including American Idol and America’s Got Talent, in the category of Favorite Reality Show.
‘The Masked Singer,’ More Shows Nominated at Kids’ Choice Awards
The Favorite Reality Show category includes The Masked Singer, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and LEGO Masters. These shows will be up against Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship and the TBS reboot of Wipeout.
Last year, the first four shows were up against American Ninja Warrior Junior, as well as The Voice, which wasn’t nominated this year. The award ended up going to America’s Got Talent. Will it win again at this year’s ceremony? We’ll have to wait and see.
This year’s awards will be hosted by iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove and NFL player Rob Gronkoswki. It will air at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, on Nick, TeenNick, Nicktoons, and Nick Jr. It will air live on the east coast and delayed on the west coast.

‘The Voice’ Stars Are Nominated at This Year’s Awards
The Voice may not have been nominated for Favorite Reality Show, but several stars who appeared on the show are nominated in various categories. Season 21 coach Ariana Grande is nominated for Favorite Female Artist, against former Mega Mentor Taylor Swift, who’s also nominated for Favorite Album and Favorite Song.
Last season’s Mega Mentor Ed Sheeran is also nominated for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Song for “Bad Habits.” Meanwhile, former coach Nick Jonas is nominated with his group the Jonas Brothers for Favorite Music Group. He’s up against former coach Adam Levine with Maroon 5.
Maroon 5 is also nominated for Favorite Music Collaboration for their song “Beautiful Mistakes” with Megan Thee Stallion. They’re up against Grande for her song “Save Your Tears” by The Weeknd.
