After a brief hiatus due to the Hollywood writers’ strike, fans of The Kelly Clarkson Show can finally rejoice as the talk-show host herself, Kelly Clarkson, announced the return of the show. Unlike some of her fellow talk show hosts, Clarkson kept things under wraps during the strike, saving herself from the need to backtrack on plans.
Kelly Clarkson Announces Her Talk Show’s Return Date
Clarkson kept a busy schedule this summer. She spent her time entertaining audiences with live performances to promote her latest album, Chemistry. She even took the stage in Las Vegas for a residency, but now, the excitement is building as The Kelly Clarkson Show gears up for its fifth season, set to return on October 16.
There’s more to the story than just the comeback, the show has a new home at the iconic 30 Rock studio in New York City. This move promises more opportunities for surprise guest appearances, thanks to the close proximity of Broadway theaters and the bustling celebrity scene in Manhattan.
One of the highlights of the show has always been “Kellyoke,” where Clarkson and her band perform duets. They now have the opportunity to collaborate with their 30 Rock neighbors and talented Broadway performers.
Being in the same building as renowned shows like Today, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night With Seth Meyers means that Clarkson’s show is now rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
