The Hidden Detail You Probably Missed At The End of ‘DWTS’s Disney100 Night
Reading Time: 3 minutes
Dancing With The Stars Season 32 has recently wrapped up its Disney100 Night, successfully paying tribute to 100 years of Disney magic. The episode had undeniably been enchanting, although there might be one moment you probably missed that night.
Alfonso Ribeiro Wishes Witney Carson a Happy Birthday
Before Dancing With The Stars‘s Disney100 Night concluded, the show’s co-host Alfonso Ribeiro can be heard yelling, before the cameras cut. Fans could clearly hear Ribeiro wishing happy birthday to former professional dancer Witney Carson.
On October 17, Carson celebrated her 30th birthday. On her special day, the DWTS pro uploaded a photo of herself to celebrate alongside her family. As seen in the snap, Carson was donning a red long-sleeved dress and pair of high heels.
After seeing the post, fans wished her a happy birthday. However, aside from the joyous comments, fans are hoping that Carson noticed one thing during the Disney100 Night.
“Happy Birthday!! Hope you were able to hear Alfonso wish you a happy birthday at the end of the show!” one fan wrote.
“Happy birthday! Love how Alfonso gave you a shout out on DWTS [tonight],” another fan commented.
Indeed, DWTS host Ribeiro did give her a shoutout at the end of the episode. This shoutout was so special, because Ribeiro was Carson’s partner on the show’s Season 19. The dancing duo had an impressive run throughout the season, winning the Mirrorball Trophy in the end. This victory later helped Ribeiro secure a hosting gig on Dancing With The Stars.
“I’m here because of the fact that I have so much experience with the show,” he said. “Because of that, it brings a familiarity that I don’t think a lot of other hosts in the business might automatically come in with.”
Ribeiro began assuming a hosting role on DWTS season 31 alongside supermodel Tyra Banks. Now, he still serves a co-host of the show, leading the competition series with former pro Julianne Hough.
Carson Has Been Enjoying Mom Life
Away from the DWTS spotlight, Carson is now serving as her sons’ full-time mommy. She keeps her followers updated by showing photos of her and her family on social media.
In one post, Carson shared a video of their “spooky movie night” by the pool. The professional dancer showed how her husband set up for the evening while their son Leo cutely tried to help. In another, she showed how different her sons are in terms of their demeanor.
Meanwhile, in her most recent post, Carson showed how adorable Leo is while wearing his Halloween costume.
“Didn’t expect to tear up editing this you guys. This is just so magical! Never want him to grow up ever ever!!” she wrote.
In August, Carson announced that she’s taking a break from the ballroom and will not be returning in season 32 of DWTS. According to the pro, she wants to focus more on her family.
“You guys know that family is the most important thing to me, and we just felt like moving our entire family across the country right now was not for us,” she said. “Leo’s at an age where he needs consistency and dependability and he hasn’t had that ever since he’s been born. So we’re just really trying to give him that now. I also feel like I’m not quite mentally and physically ready for what the show calls for.”
Be that as it may, Carson promised that she’ll still cheer for the DWTS cast from afar.
