‘The Four’ Announces Comeback Battles
Reading Time: 4 minutes
The most anticipated show of The Four this season is finally here. It’s The Four Comeback episode! Tonight, eight of our favorite past contestants from this season will battle it out to claim a seat and a spot in next week’s Finale. And if the promos are any indication, these battles are about to take things to another level!

After weeks of voting, eight contestants total will be returning for the Comebacks this season. These contestants are James Graham, Jesse Kramer, Whitney Reign. Stephanie Zelaya, Ebon Lurks, Carvena Jones, Lil Bri, and Dylan Jacobs. The first round of match-ups will be two comeback artists against each other: James vs Jesse, Whitney vs Stephanie, Ebon vs Carvena, and Lil Bri vs Dylan. These pairs will all go head-to-head to move on. From there, the winners will each challenge a current member of The Four. At that point, the winners of those challenges will secure the bag and their spot in the Finale! Now let’s take a look at the pairings.
Jesse Kramer vs James Graham
I don’t want to seem overly biased or opinionated, but I think I speak for everyone ever when I say that James better win this one. He’s legitimately just so good! No hate on Jesse, because he’s also super talented, but I don’t see him having a chance here. Even the judges were over his growling by the time he was eliminated from the show. This should be an interesting match-up though, since both Jesse and James were part of the “unbeatable Four.” The fact that these two are pitted against each other has to be an intentional move from the producers. Once James wins this battle, I could see him challenging JeRonelle and taking back his seat on The Four. It’s hard for me to imagine a Finale without James Graham!
Stephanie Zelaya vs Whitney Reign
Stephanie Zelaya was one of the original members of The Four this season. She brought fire to the stage by covering Spanish hits and lighting up the stage with her commanding presence. That was, until Whitney came along and took her seat during Week Two. This will be an intense rematch but I think Whitney will come out on top again. Especially considering the fan support she has received since losing to Ali Caldwell, she is a threat to return to The Four for sure. But she’ll have to get through Ali first, who defeated her a few weeks ago and won’t go down without a fight! Another battle between Whitney and Ali would be too close to call in my opinion. That seat could easily go either way!
Carvena vs Ebon Lurks
This is another interesting pairing, but not for the same reason as the other ones. Carvena and Ebon were the biggest surprises to be returning for the Comebacks. Honestly, they weren’t even really on our radar. Especially Ebon, who came out of nowhere to secure a Comeback spot. I anticipated this pairing to be Majeste Pearson vs Quinton Ellis or Noah Barlass. But all that aside, I don’t think we got enough airtime of Carvena, who was eliminated in a challenge against Majeste Pearson during Week One. I feel like we’ll see Carvena come back ready to EAT and take Ebon out for good. Looking forward though, her odds don’t look as good against any of the seated members of The Four. It’s likely we could see Carvena challenge Leah Jenea or Ali, but either of them would handily beat her.
Dylan Jacob vs Lil Bri
Lowkey, this will probably be one of the better battles of the entire season. Dylan and Lil Bri are both young, up-and-coming rappers who put up solid fights against Sharaya J. But honestly, neither of them had a chance against her. In this match-up, the two are more evenly matched. I think we could see some solid performances from both of them! If I had to choose, I would have to give a slight edge to Lil Bri on this one. Unfortunately, the next step would probably be to challenge Sharaya J again. But as the only original member of The Four still standing, Sharaya J won’t be taken down before the Finale.
