The ‘AGT’ Cast Becomes Superheroes In The New Season 14 Trailer

Season 14 of America’s Got Talent is only two weeks away, and we now have a trailer to enjoy while we wait for the premiere. While the clip doesn’t give us a preview of this year’s contestants, we do get to see the judges and host doing their best superhero impressions.
The trailer starts on the Isle of Cowell, where Simon sends out a call to fellow judge Howie Mandel, as well as new judges Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough, and returning AGT: Champions host Terry Crews. (Did you know that Terry spends his downtime painting shirtless in the Himalayan Mountains? And also that he has wings?)
The end of the trailer reveals Simon in his lair with a scar across his face. I know it’s most likely just a silly superhero detail, but wouldn’t it be crazy if it turns out to have been because of one of this year’s acts? Perhaps a sloppy knife-throwing stunt? A circus cat act gone wrong? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Although we don’t know much about the upcoming acts yet, we do know a few details about the new season. For instance, this season’s guest judges will include Jay Leno, Ellie Kemper, and Brad Paisley.
The judges and host have also teased the show’s “most epic moment.” They only shared that the act received the Golden Buzzer from Gabrielle Union and made everyone cry. “I don’t think America’s ready for what they are about to see,” Terry Crews told Billboard of the amazing act.
New judge Gabrielle Union has also revealed that the show has turned her into a crier, so we might want to get the tissues ready for when we watch. America’s Got Talent Season 14 will premiere Tuesday, May 28, at 8/7 c on NBC.
