Jay Leno, Dwyane Wade And Other ‘AGT’ Guest Judges On Judge Cuts
NBC/GettyImages The AGT Judge Cuts round for Season 14 is coming up soon, and that means we can look forward to a few guest judges. Three of them were revealed on the show’s ticket site earlier this year, with one remaining a mystery.
We now know the identity of the fourth guest judge, and he has a very special connection to one of the permanent judges on the panel. Read on to find out which celebrities will be sitting at the judging table this season.
Jay Leno
The first AGT guest judge is former Tonight Show host Jay Leno. It will be interesting to see if he gets the chance to judge any comedians, and if he’ll choose a funny act for his Golden Buzzer.
Brad Paisley
Next up is country star Brad Paisley. Considering The Voice has Blake Shelton and American Idol has Luke Bryan, it’s fitting that America’s Got Talent would have a little country twang on its judging panel this season.
Ellie Kemper
Actress Ellie Kemper, known for The Office and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, will be another guest judge in Season 14. She’s sure to bring some humor and positivity to the panel.
Dwyane Wade
On Thursday, April 25, a “surprise guest judge” was scheduled to tape the show. It was later revealed that this judge was former NBA star Dwyane Wade. As you may know, Dwyane is married to AGT judge Gabrielle Union. It will be interesting to see their dynamic, and how Dwyane’s experience as an athlete affects his judging.
The guest judges join the permanent panel during Judge Cuts, and each of them gets to hit the Golden Buzzer once to send a contestant straight to the live shows.
Jay, Brad, Ellie, and Dwyane are joining two new judges this season — Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough. With so many fresh faces, it’s fun to see what everyone brings to the table.
