Team Legend Artists Battle in The Voice Early Release
Bryan Olesen auditioned for Season 25 with a rocking cover of “Love Runs Out” by OneRepublic, turning three of the coaches’ chairs. After singing a duet with his daughter who is also a singer, Bryan chose to join John Legend’s team.
Nathan Chester auditioned for the season with a lively rendition of “Take Me to the River” by Al Green. John Legend and Dan + Shay turned around for the performance. Chance the Rapper said he had a “vision” of Nathan on Legend’s team. That turned out to be the choice Nathan made.
For their Battle, Bryan and Nathan took on “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. Both singers brought power and amazing stage presence to the performance, which meant that Legend had a tough decision ahead of him.

What Did the Coaches Think of the Battle?
Reba McEntire called Bryan and Nathan’s Battle “absolutely incredible.” She told Bryan that she loves his “quirky” style and called Nathan a “powerhouse.” She wasn’t able to decide which of the two artists should win.
Chance the Rapper also couldn’t decide who should win, as he told the singers that they’re “both really powerful vocalists.” Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay said he was “blown away” by their performance. He joked that they needed to flip a coin to choose the winner.
Legend told his fellow coaches were “so unhelpful” to him. He praised the artists for making the song their own. Ultimately, it’s up to Legend to decide the winner of the Battle.
We’ll have to wait until Monday night’s new episode to find out who’s going to the Knockouts. Who would you choose? Let us know in the comments below.
