‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Set to Air Holiday Special on Christmas Day

The Ballroom is set as six celebrities are gearing up to bring their dance moves on Christmas day. BBC One and BBC I Player are preparing to air the new Strictly Come Dancing all-star Christmas special.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are set to host the one night dance special. Judges will include Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Shirley Ballas. The foursome are sure to bring their laughs and quick witted banter with them during the special.
This year’s celebrities and professional dance partners performing are hot as ever. T.V. presenter Adrian Chiles will be joined by The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades, presenter Moira Stuart, First Dates star Fred Sirieix, pop star Anne Marie, and presenter and actress Mel Giedroyc. The competition will feature each pair performing a Christmas inspired dance number.
All bets seem to be on singer Anne Marie and her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima to wow the world during this event. Perhaps having Anne as his dance partner will be the luck he needs to finally take home the championship.
The show will premiere at 5:10 p.m. GMT and start with a group routine featuring the celebrities as well as their professional partners.
‘Strictly’s All-Star Christmas Special
“I love Christmas and Anne-Marie is my present this year! She is amazing and takes on board every suggestion. We’re going to enjoy every step,” Graziano said in a press release.
Jamie Cullum and Gary Barlow will be joining in on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. The two artists have often collaborated in recent years. Both are members of the supergroup of musicians and singers that premiered on Barlow’s I’m with The Band BBC show.
Get your eggnog ready, it looks like we have something new to look forward to on Christmas day.
