Steve Harvey Takes a Stand Against Affair Rumors
Harvey, at the age of 66, made it abundantly clear that he stands firmly by his wife, Marjorie Harvey, during a recent broadcast of his radio show. He emphasized that Marjorie had been with him through thick and thin, helping him build the life and family they cherish today.
Harvey didn’t stutter when he said, “You’re not going to split us up!”
His unwavering support and defense of his wife were evident as he expressed his deep appreciation for her, stating that she is “one of the best women” he has ever met.
The rumors that Harvey addressed on his radio show were not only unsettling but also quite damaging to his family’s reputation. These allegations arose from leaked conversations and claims made by individuals, including his radio show co-host Shirley Strawberry, who had suggested that Harvey was “scared” of Marjorie and implied that she looked down on the show’s crew.
The most significant and damaging rumor revolved around allegations of Marjorie’s extramarital affairs with Harvey’s security guard and the couple’s personal chef. YouTuber Keem first made these claims in a post, which he subsequently deleted. Keem also shared a video of a speech where Harvey had previously spoken about his wife.
Marjorie Harvey Responded to the Rumors
In response to the allegations and the ensuing controversy, Marjorie took to Instagram to share her thoughts. She posted a message about “How To Handle Being Lied About” and included a Bible verse about not retaliating. Her response reflected her commitment to maintaining grace and composure in the face of adversity.
The couple’s love story began in 2007, and since then, they have built a loving and blended family with seven children: Brandi, Karli, Broderick, Wynton, Morgan, Jason, and Lori Harvey. Their commitment to each other extends beyond their marital bond and encompasses their role as parents to this diverse family.
Aside from addressing the rumors surrounding his marriage, Harvey recently shared his experiences regarding his linguistic abilities. He revealed that NBC had once required him to work with a linguist to improve his grammar and eloquence to achieve success. However, Harvey was resolute in his response, stating that he had made it to where he is today without formal education and was not willing to change his approach.
