Perhaps Sophie Turner now knows how to drop Easter eggs like her good friend Taylor Swift. Recently, the Game of Thrones actress posted on social media, for the first time since her split. Within the post, Turner shared a friendship bracelet, which allegedly hints at the split.
Sophie Turner Wears “Fearless” Friendship Bracelet in First Post Since Joe Jonas Split
Last weekend, Turner took to her Instagram Story to show a sweet connection to the “Love Story” singer. In the post, she shared a snap of her wearing a Swift-inspired friendship bracelet that reads “Fearless.”
The beaded bracelet refers to Swift’s 2008 album and single of the same name. For those who may not know, the pop star rereleased the album in 2021 as Fearless (Taylor’s Version). However, while the wrist accessory has its own meaning, fans believe that Turner is alluding to her breakup with her estranged husband. It’s also important to point out that Turner’s post ahead of her divorce announcement featured her wearing the same type of friendship bracelet at the opening night of the Jonas Brothers tour.
Speculations are especially strong that Swift has something to do with Turner’s healing, since it’s been reported that the singer is lending her New York home to Turner at this time. The pair is quite iconic too, since Swift had a reported short-lived romance with Jonas. In fact, some of Swift’s songs during the Fearless era such as “Forever & Always,” “You All Over Me” and “Mr. Perfectly Fine” are believed to be about him.
There have always been hints that Turner and Swift are friends, but it’s become more evident as of late. During Fearless’ rerelease, Turner shared “Mr. Perfectly Fine” on her Instagram story and wrote, “it’s not NOT a bop.” As a response then, Swift reposted the Story and responded, “Forever bending the knee to the 👑 of the north.”
After Turner shared picture of the beaded bracelet on Sunday, she later deleted the post.
She’s Recently Photographed Exiting Swift’s Apartment
Turner is currently dealing with her divorce from Jonas and a messy custody battle regarding their daughters, Willa and Delphine. Nonetheless, it seems that the actress is not letting personal issues bring her down.
Recently, Page Six spotted the alum making her way out of the NYC apartment loaned to her by Swift. In the photos, Turner can be seen smiling from ear to ear as she opens the door and climbing into the back of a black SUV.
Turner was wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. She also wore a black zip-up hoodie underneath. Her hair was in French-braided pigtails, clearly showing her in a positive demeanor.
As per her custody battle, Jonas and Turner are expected to be in mediation for four days. This comes after Turner sued the musician for wrongful retention, alleging that Jonas was withholding their passports and not allowing them to return to England. The complaint against Jonas asserted for the “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained.”
