A Snoop Dogg Biopic is in Development

Snoop also announced that Universal Pictures is hard at work in developing a big-screen biopic about him. The 51-year-old rapper will be the one responsible for producing the film about his life.

The rapper has licensed his music to be featured in the film which will be directed by Allen Hughes. The film is written by Joe Robert Cole, who co-wrote the two Black Panther films. Universal Pictures is also responsible for handling the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton.
