‘AGT’ Alum Benicio Bryant Teases New Music, What’s He Up to in 2022?

Benicio Bryant is known from being a viral teen singer on America’s Got Talent. He knew how to “wow” an audience at only 14 years old, but what is he up to now? Here are the details behind his style transformation and more.
Is He Releasing New Music?
Benicio is now 17 years old and is currently on a self discovery journey. Since finishing AGT, he’s been working on discovering his sound and style. In the past two years he’s released seven songs. Within these songs, Benicio premieres a new, lower sound. He still has the same beautiful tone that he had in his AGT years, but it’s clear his voice has dropped, due to puberty.
His most recent releases are “Feels Like” and “Pretty in Pink.” Both of these songs have an addicting pop vibe. From these singles alone, it’s obvious that Benicio has a bright future within the genre. Between songs with meaningful lyrics and all around good vibes, pop looks good on him.
Since the new year began, Benicio shared that surprises are closer than some of his fans may think. On Jan 24, he shared on his Instagram story that a surprise is coming later this week. He’s been hinting at a release of a single named “Who Hurt You” on TikTok, so many fans have speculated that it will drop later in the week.
He Developed an Individual Fashion Style in His Late Teens
Many fans of AGT are interested to see Benicio now because of the fashion transformation he’s had. It’s no secret that his style has become less simple and bolder overtime, he’s quite the fashionista in 2022. Around his 17th birthday he dyed his hair blonde and hasn’t gone back. The singer did clear the air about his fashion, simply saying that he’s happy.
It’s clear that he has found his sense of style and is fully embracing it at 17. Since becoming an AGT finalist he’s really grown into the person he wants to be. Along the way of finding himself he created some great music, so I can’t wait to see what’s on the rise.
At 14 years old this singer took to the AGT stage singing “The Joke” by Brandi Carlile in season 14. He seemed a bit nervous on stage, then shocked everyone with his amazing singing voice. From there, he went on to succeed in the judges’ cuts, quarter and semi finals. Beginning at the judges’ cuts, this singer performed only original songs for America.
He became a judge favorite in the competition, especially after receiving a standing ovation by all four judges for both his semi final and final performances. In the end, he didn’t make it into the Top 5 of the competition, but it still led him to big opportunities.
Before the pandemic, Benicio signed with Simon Cowell’s former label, Syco Music. His record deal is a joint deal between Syco Music and Artista Records. Since joining this record label, Cowell pushed the singer to take time to find his sound.
