Simon Cowell owns Syco Entertainment, a multimedia company producing music and television. Earlier this year, Simon paid to regain control of Syco from Sony, with the exception of Syco Music. He chose to focus on his TV projects.

“I’ve always believed it’s important to take on new goals in order to drive new ideas and creativity,” Simon said of his decision, “so I’m very excited to be taking an independent and creatively-led Syco Entertainment into the future.”

When Is Simon Getting Back To Work?

Simon fell off his new electric bike in August, breaking his back. He had to have a metal rod put in, and has been recovering at home in Malibu. Although there were hopes that he might make an appearance during the America’s Got Talent live shows, that didn’t end up happening.

Meanwhile, on Britain’s Got Talent, Simon has been replaced by Ashley Banjo during the live shows. We’re still not sure if he’ll make an appearance by the end of the season, but his ex-girlfriend Sinitta recently made it clear that his accident was “serious” and “very scary.”

She added that he’s eager to get back to work. “We’re trying to keep him still,” Sinitta said. “We’re trying to keep him more focused on being well than entertaining the nation which is difficult because he’s a workaholic.”
