Simon Cowell splashed the cash on a brand new all-electric tesla
Last year, the world saw a totally new Simon Cowell. One thing in particular that stood out to us was his pricy endeavor into a new car. Although the classic Rolls Royce continues to make appearances at press events, Cowell now drives an all-electric car.
Although the new red supercar looks striking, if anything, Cowell will be saving money. The classic Rolls Royce model that Simon has driven around in starts at around £363,000.
However, we can’t say this new buy is particularly significant. Simon admitted recently that he drove from his London home, across the UK, just to make a grand entrance at the BGT auditions in the Rolls Royce. Cowell’s carbon footprint alone for that trip was 540kg of CO2e.

Since Simon has turned vegan, he’s definitely done some good for the planet.

Does Simon Cowell have a tree planting scheme?!
A recent interview with all the BGT judges took place, and the first topic that came up is how Cowell travels around. The entire panel plus the interviewer laughed at a rather peculiar statement Cowell made about how he reduces his carbon footprint.
“I have a car, that every time I do a mile or I put petrol in, I grow like ten trees or something.”
