Selena Gomez has officially confirmed her romance with music producer Benny Blanco. Gomez recently shared a photo of her and Blanco kissing on Instagram, after months of dating privately.

According to a source close to Gomez, she is “all in” with Blanco and “happy to be shouting her love from the rooftops.” The insider revealed that Gomez says Blanco “dotes on her like a princess” and she is “head over heels” for the 35-year-old producer.
Earlier this month, Gomez first hinted at the relationship when she posted a photo cuddling with Blanco, though she did not show his face. Eagle-eyed fans identified him by his distinctive tattoos. Gomez also posted a photo wearing a silver “B” ring, which fueled relationship speculation further.
The couple managed to keep their romance private for six months before going public. They had collaborated together musically several times before dating, with Blanco producing hits like Gomez’s “Same Old Love” and “I Can’t Get Enough.” Their most recent collaboration was on Gomez’s track “Single Soon,” released this past August.
According to the source, Blanco’s low-key personality allowed the famously scrutinized singer to have a relationship away from the public eye before confirming it themselves on social media.

After speculation from fans, Gomez made her relationship with Blanco Instagram official with a post captioned “New York, my favorite moments [with] you this week.” The photo series includes a sweet shot of the new couple sharing a kiss along with other photos from Gomez’s time in New York City.
This PDA moment comes shortly after Gomez strongly defended her new beau online against some fan criticism. After an old interview clip surfaced that seemed to show Blanco making negative remarks about Gomez in the past, Gomez fiercely stood up for her Blanco.
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” Gomez wrote. “He [has] been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end. … He’s still better than anyone I’ve been with. Facts.”
Gomez doubled down on her certainty about Blanco after some fans speculated their romance was a publicity stunt. She assured everyone that she would “never be with a f*ckboy ever again” and that she was “never trolling” about her real relationship.
