It’s been a few days since the full phone conversation between Kanye West and Taylor Swift discussing his song “Famous” leaked. The conversation revealed that the line in the song that refers to Swift as a b*tch was never discussed or approved by her. Kim Kardashian West spoke out on Twitter after Swift posted an Instagram story about the call.
.@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now.
Kardashian West made it clear that the feud between the two was “self-serving” during the chaos and stress suffered by people around the world amid the coronavirus outbreak. She referred to these people as “real victims,” which is no doubt a dig at Swift and implies that she is making herself the victim.
Taylor Swift Posted An Instagram Story Referencing “That Call”
Swift posted an Instagram story on Monday night and said that the leaked phone call proved that she was “telling the truth the whole time.” She also said that the call was “illegally recorded” and “edited and manipulated” to frame her. Swift was making a reference to Kardashian West who posted a shorter version of the call back in 2016 on Twitter. This caused many people to assume Swift was a liar. But now new truths have come to light as fans have listened to the full phone call. Have you heard the full call? We got it here for you.

Swift included a swipe up link in her story that takes you to a page where you can donate to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. She revealed in her next story that she donated to both The World Health Organization and Feeding America during the coronavirus pandemic. She said that this is “what really matters.”

Kim Kardashian West Was Not A Fan Of The Instagram Post
Kardashian West posted several tweets maintaining that Swift was still lying about the entire situation “through her publicist.”
To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that “Kanye never called to ask for permission…” They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word “bitch” was used without her permission.
Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, actually responded to Kardashian West’s tweet that refers to her. She threw some shade at Kardashian West for “editing” her statement much like she edited the video when she first posted it to Twitter in 2016.
I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing.
Kardashian West then denied that she edited or manipulated the video in any way.
I never edited the footage (another lie) – I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.
Still, Kardashian West attests that the narrative of the video remains the same and that Swift is still lying about not being made aware of certain lines in the song. She finished her Twitter rant by saying it would be the last time she speaks on the matter. She also said she knows people have more “important matters” to tend to during this time.
This will be the last time I speak on this because honestly, nobody cares.
Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important matters.
Swift’s fans came to her defense and commented on Kardashian West’s tweets. One twitter user said that “COVID-19 is a bigger issue she lacks to highlight instead.”
“tHIs wIlL bE THe lAsT tiME I sPEak oN ThIs bECAusE hONEstLy, NoBOdY CarEs” as she posts an essay length twitter thread on this when COVID-19 is a bigger issue she lacks to highlight instead
