Opera singer Ryan Gallagher was the fan-favorite coming into the Live Playoffs on season 19 of The Voice. The 31-year-old was saved by coach Kelly Clarkson during The Battles and was one of the artists vying for America’s votes in the 4-Way Knockout. Ryan was nowhere to be found on stage, leaving three other artists awaiting the results. But you guys feel that Ryan is the true winner.

Ryan Gallagher Won The 4-Way Knockout Based On Your Votes

It was Taryn Papa who was announced as the winner of the 4-Way Knockout live on The Voice. Taryn’s shocked response definitely mirrored those watching at home who were left scratching their heads about what happened to Ryan. While Carson Daly said that Ryan dropped out of the competition, it was later revealed by Entertainment Tonight that he broke COVID safety protocols and was kicked off.

You guys seem to think that Ryan was the real winner of the 4-Way Knockout. So many of you voted in our fan-poll and Ryan overwhelmingly received 58% of the votes. He performed Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye” in The Knockouts which earned praise from the coaches along with fans online. Julia Cooper received 20% of the votes and Taryn who eventually won the 4-Way Knockout received 12% of the votes in our poll. Larriah Jackson earned 10% of the votes.

Still, the question looms whether or not Taryn actually won the 4-Way Knockout fair and square. Up until a few hours before the Live Playoffs, Ryan was posting on social media normally. It wasn’t until the beginning of the episode that he began posting about how he did not drop out of the show and was kicked off. Carson Daly mentioned that the votes were still tabulated and the winner of the 4-Way Knockout was the person who got the most votes. It would not be such a far-fetched idea that Ryan actually got the most votes but after he was kicked off, the win went to the person with the next highest votes. This remains to be seen.

Fans On Twitter Also Believe Ryan Was The True Winner Of The Battle

After Carson announced the results, people flooded the internet and social media to express their frustrations. “I’m guessing Ryan Gallagher actually won. I hope that all is well with him, and his mother” one fan wrote on Twitter. Ryan previously revealed that his mother had COVID but was doing much better.

“WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO RYAN GALLAGHER???????? I LOVE HIM! HE WOULD HAVE WON HANDS DOWN! He sang so incredibly beautiful it made me cry! PLEASE BRING HIM BACK! IM BEGGING YOU! I need Ryan!!” one person tweeted to Blake Shelton. We’re all basically feeling the same way, we just need Ryan back on our television screens.
