Here’s Why ‘The Voice’s Ryan Gallagher Looks So Familiar
NBC Ryan Gallagher auditioned for season 19 of The Voice hoping to really impress the coaches with his classical song choice. He sang “The Prayer” by Celine Dion and literally had Kelly and Blake fighting over him. Take a look at his Blind Audition below.
Ryan Gallagher Caused A Battle Between ‘The Voice’ Coaches
Kelly turned around about halfway through the performance, clearly captivated by Ryan’s charms. Towards the very end, Blake also turned his chair which let viewers know this was going to be an all-out battle to get Ryan on their teams. To help his case, Blake lied and said that if Ryan were to join Team Kelly, he would be the third opera singer on her team.

“I have no opera singers on my team, you’re just a liar,” Kelly said. She also tried to sweeten the deal by saying that Ryan will get to sing a duet with her at the finale. “Come on Ryan, don’t just be another opera singer, be THE opera singer,” Blake said. Ultimately, Ryan ended up choosing to be on Team Kelly.
It seemed to be a common theme throughout the episode with the other coaches calling Blake a liar. Why Does Ryan Look So Familiar?
Ryan had previously auditioned for American Idol but did not get much air time. But, he recently appeared on MTV’s hit reality show Ex On The Beach: Peak Of Love. The premise of the show is a bunch of singles are in a house together and each week their ex’s randomly show up and surprise them, leaving them to face their past.
Ryan’s ex-girlfriend Magdalena Ruiz showed up looking to make their relationship work. Ryan questioned her intentions and she apologized for being mean to him towards the end of their relationship. Magdalena has a daughter who she claimed adored Ryan. The pair decided during their time on the show to give their relationship another shot.
A few days after Magdalena arrived on the show, the couple left to deal with a “family emergency.” They later returned to the show with their relationship still going strong and they left hand and hand at the end. But now if you take one look at Ryan’s Instagram, there is no mention of Magdalena nor his time on Ex On The Beach: Peak Of Love so it doesn’t look like the pair are together anymore.
Ryan has also gotten a ton of love from the Filipino fans after performing internationally many times.
