RuPaul’s Drag Race Introduces Season 16 Queens
Earlier this year, Drag Race was renewed for Season 16 on MTV. This season will feature 14 Queens competing to be the new winner. In the new “Meet the Queens” special, we see all of the Queens enter the Werk Room and introduce themselves.
Things kick off with Q, who describes herself as “an artist … a diva … beyond.” Next up is Xunami Muse, “the diva of New York.” We also meet Amanda Tori Meating, who is “blonde, glamourous, and selling it for a very fair price on Hollywood Boulevard.”
Next, we’re introduced to Morphine Love Dion, who describes herself as “the Latina goddess of Miami, Florida.” We also meet “Philadelphia’s crown jewel” Sapphira Cristal, and “the legs of Las Vegas” Mirage. Next up is Dawn, “the ethereal elf goddess of Brooklyn.”
We also meet Hershii LiqCour-Jeté, whose drag sister is Kornbread Jeté of Season 14. Then there’s Plasma, who is “a 65-year-old woman inhabiting this gorgeous 24-year-old’s body.” And don’t forget Geneva “Vroom Vroom” Karr, who has “Mexican spice.” She’s followed by Plane Jane, “the authentically Russian clown hooker from Boston.”
Next up is Megami, “the geek-chic goddess of Brooklyn, New York, and the Barbie of Staten Island.” Then there’s Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige, who is a “ball of fire.” And last but not least is Nymphia Wind, the first Taiwanese Queen on the show.
