Dancing with the Stars contestant Olivia Jade and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy had a great night this week, as they earned four bonus points from the judges for winning their Dance Relay.
This, combined with the score for their Queen Night solo dance, put them at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the night. Olivia reacted to her high score after the show, saying she didn’t expect it.

During Queen Night, Olivia and Val danced a fun Quickstep to “Fat Bottomed Girls.” The judges praised the performance, with Derek Hough saying she “didn’t miss a step.” The couple earned a score of 38 for the dance, including three 10s.
In an interview with Extra, Olivia shared her love of Queen’s music, saying her favorite song has to be “Fat Bottomed Girls” now that she earned that score. “I also really, really loved that song before dancing to it, which was exciting,” she shared.
Olivia and Val also participated in a Dance Relay, performing the Foxtrot to “Under Pressure” against JoJo Siwa and Jimmie Allen. There were up to four bonus points available, and the judges chose to give all of them to Olivia and Val. This gave them a final score of 42, putting them at the very top of the leaderboard.
“That was really surprising to me,” Olivia said of her bonus points. “I totally didn’t expect that, so very excited, obviously. I thought our group was so much fun, too … So I think everybody honestly had so much fun, and what a great reward for the bonus points.”

Olivia Is Grateful for the Judges’ Feedback
Val said that hearing the judges’ feedback felt even better than getting the bonus points. He joked that they’d been giving the judges candy all week to bribe them into giving them love. They must have missed Len Goodman in that case, since he gave them an 8 for their Quickstep.
“It feels amazing,” Olivia said of the judges’ response. “I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again. I grew up watching this show, so to even be dancing in front of them is such a huge privilege and honor.”
She shared that she also appreciates the constructive criticism the judges give, saying it’s “making me become a better dancer.” Olivia said she’s “grateful,” adding jokingly that Val is “helping me a little bit too.” Even if he teased her by calling the song “Flat Bottomed Girls.”
