Nicole Scherzinger To Bring Rap Artist Stormzy To ‘The X Factor UK’

The X Factor UK judge Nicole Scherzinger has revealed who will be joining her as a mentor at the judge’s house in South Africa: rap and grime artist Stormzy. The colorful rapper will help mentor the budding singers along with the former Pussycat Doll. It’s definitely going to make for interesting TV.

I had to look up what grime is because I’m a dumb American who isn’t exactly hip. When I hear the word grime I want to reach for the Lysol. But it’s a super fast EDM and hip-hop mix and Stormzy is one of the kings of grime in the UK. It’s a little surprising that they chose him to mentor in spite of his huge popularity. It’s not like the singers on The X Factor are rappers. They need someone with vocal training to help them. Then again, Sharon Osbourne is reportedly bringing Jack and Kelly Osbourne to her house and they really don’t know anything about singing.

Still, this Stormzy character sounds like he would be good TV. It should be fun watching him team up with flirty Nicole.
