Nick Carter, Jimmie Allen Team Up for New Song ‘Easy’

Talent show stars Nick Carter and Jimmie Allen are teaming up on a new song together. Carter placed third on The Masked Singer Season 4 as Crocodile, while Allen recently competed on Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars, placing seventh.

Nick Carter, Jimmie Allen Collaborate on New Song

Earlier this month, Carter teased his upcoming new song “Easy.” The Backstreet Boys star shared that the track will be available February 11, and he posted a snippet on Instagram for fans to hear. The art for the song features Carter sitting on the hood of a car against a beachy backdrop.

“You got something special, love / That comes from up above,” Carter and Allen sing on the poppy track. “I’ll never give you up / ‘Cause you make this look easy / You make it look easy.”

You can pre-save the song here. Carter also showed his support for Allen in his Instagram stories, encouraging fans to vote for him at the NAACP Image Awards, where he’s nominated for Outstanding New Artist. You can fill out your ballot here.

When Did Carter Release His Last Album?

Nick Carter has released three studio albums as a solo artist over the years, the last of which was All American in 2015. However, he’s released a few singles since then, including “80s Movie” in 2020, “Scary Monster” in 2021, and now “Easy.”

Before that, Carter participated in the Backstreet Boys’ Las Vegas residency, Larger Than Life, between 2017 and 2019. The boy band then set out on their DNA World Tour in 2019. The tour was unfortunately cut short in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Country star Jimmie Allen, meanwhile, released his first studio album Mercury Lane in 2018. In 2020, he debuted the EP Bettie James, with a longer Gold Edition following in 2021. Keep an eye out for “Easy” when it officially drops on February 11.
