Nick Cannon to Host New Morning Show with Baby Mama Abby De La Rosa

The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon has announced that he’s hosting a new morning show called The Daily Cannon, which will also feature Abby De La Rosa. Cannon and De La Rosa share three children together.


Nick Cannon Hosts New Show with Abby De La Rosa

According to TMZ, Cannon has a new partnership with Amazon’s live radio app Amp. He’ll be hosting a morning show called The Daily Cannon and will be joined on the show be De La Rosa, as well as former Dallas radio host Mason Moussette.

De La Rosa has radio experience as well, having previously worked for Real 92.3 in Los Angeles. She and Cannon share three children together. Their twin sons Zion and Zillion were born in 2021. Then last November, they welcomed a daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin.

Cannon released a video announcing the new show, which premieres April 24. The show will stream “live and unfiltered” Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET. To tune in, fans can download the Amp app or go to OnAmp.com.

What Can Fans Expect from the New Show?

Entertainment Tonight reports that, according to a press release, Cannon “will act as a cultural guide, as he headlines each raw and unfiltered show with personally curated new R&B, hip-hop, and pop tracks; the inside scoop on celebrity and culture news; and interviews with today’s hottest artists, newsmakers and Amp creators.”

“Having a place where I can directly connect with listeners five days a week to spotlight the hottest emerging artists, chat about the latest and greatest in music and entertainment and share real-time announcements in my world and beyond will make ‘The Daily Cannon’ a show you don’t want to miss,” Cannon said of the show in a statement.


Cannon has plenty of hosting experience. In addition to The Masked Singer, he’s also emceed his show Wild ‘N Out, and he had a short-lived daytime talk show which was canceled last year after one season. The star also had a podcast in the past called Cannon’s Class.
