The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon has already welcomed 12 children, but would he consider having a 13th if it was with singer Taylor Swift? That was the topic of conversation in a recent interview with Howard Stern. Cannon said he would be “all in” to have a baby with Swift.
Nick Cannon Jokes About Having Child with Taylor Swift
During Cannon’s recent conversation with Howard Stern, the radio host asked him if he’s done having kids. As Cannon said, “Every time I answer this question, I can never answer correctly, because I don’t know … I’m happy currently with my dozen.”
Stern tried to get Cannon to name a woman he would want to have a baby with, but he didn’t answer. That’s when Stern suggested Taylor Swift, who is rumored to have recently broken up with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
“Absolutely! I’m in. Let’s go,” Cannon said. “That’s the one. I’m all in.”
He went on to call Swift an “amazing songwriter,” adding, “What I do love about Taylor Swift is the fact that she has been so vulnerable and open with all of her music since a young girl.” He also pointed out that they’ve both “dated a lot of people in the public eye.”
After Cannon’s conversation with Stern made headlines, some fans responded to the comments about Swift on Twitter, and not everyone was amused. As one user wrote, “Nick Cannon better stay away from Taylor Swift.”
“This Nick Cannon/Taylor Swift sh*t is really really gross,” wrote another user. “To say he’d be open to having a CHILD. Bro, she didn’t even say she wanted one, let alone with you. The f*ck?”
Another fan brought up that this isn’t the first time a male celebrity has spoken like this about Swift. In Kanye West’s song “Famous,” he raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous.”
“It’s troubling that both Nick Cannon and Kanye West have publicly implied sex with Taylor Swift and her consent is not part of the conversation and no one has called them on it,” wrote @tgain23.
