Megan Fox Ignores SAG Rules, Dresses in ‘Kill Bill’ Costume for Halloween

Over the weekend, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly dressed up for Halloween in costumes inspired by the movie Kill Bill. This goes against SAG-AFTRA’s current guidance about Halloween costumes during the actors’ strike.
Megan Fox Ignores SAG Rules for Halloween Costume
Earlier this month, SAG-AFTRA encouraged its members to avoid posting photos of themselves in Halloween costumes inspired by struck content so as not to give studios publicity for these projects during the strike.
Instead, actors were encouraged to dress as “generalized characters and figures,” or as characters from non-struck content like cartoons. Fox chose to ignore this guidance, dressing up as Kill Bill character Gogo Yubari while her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly wore a costume inspired by Uma Thurman’s character The Bride.
Fox posted photos of their costumes on social media over the weekend, making it clear that she was deliberately flouting SAG’s rules by tagging the union in her Instagram post.
“Why is she being defiant to a group that’s literally fighting for her to make a fair wage,” wrote one commenter on Fox’s post, while another wrote, “Yes girl give it to your union trying to get better wages and benefits for lesser known people than u!”

Fans Are Surprised They’re Still Together
Commenters who weren’t expressing their disappointment in Fox for ignoring her union’s rules were expressing their surprise that she and Machine Gun Kelly are still together. Their relationship appears to have been complicated in recent months.
“Y’all are still together???” reads one comment, which has over 14,000 likes as of this writing.
The couple got engaged in January 2022, but earlier this year Us Weekly reported that they were “on a break,” adding that their relationship was “very hot and cold.” However, by August, they were reportedly “fully back together” and in a “really good place.”
Earlier this month, Us Weekly reported that the couple’s wedding plans had been “stalled” as they focused on “feeling solid” in their relationship.
