Meet the Kids of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pros

Dancing With The Stars pros are not only professional choreographers, they are also hands-on parents to their lovely kids. Outside the ballroom floor, they enjoy the happy noises of their children at home. As fans, we’ve seen how these dancers find time to bond with their babies despite the busy schedule. Let’s meet some of the DWTS pros mini me’s.
1. Leo and Jet—Witney Carson
Witney Carson and her husband Carson McAllister happily welcomed Leo on January 3, 2021 despite “difficult” ordeal of contracting COVID just before she gave birth. Then, during Mother’s Day 2023, they revealed that they’re already a family of four with the arrival of their second baby. Witney is now a full-time mom to both kids after she announced her non-return for DWTS season 32.
2. Sage and June—Lindsay Arnold
After welcoming their first daughter Sage Jill in November 2020, Lindsay Arnold and Sam Cusick announced that their first born is already a big sister with the arrival of their second baby girl, June. Throughout her pregnancy journey, the DWTS pro had been transparent of her milestones and struggles. Amid all the difficulties in the process, Arnold is “grateful and blessed” to have her family with her.
3. Shai and Rio—Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Peta Murgatroyd
Years after they tied the knot, DWTS couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd now share two sons, six-year-old Shai and months-old Rio. Last June, Chmerkovskiy shared an adorable photo of him lounging around his two sons, calling it his “new favorite pic of all time.” It’s no secret that their family has suffered infertility for years, making the arrival of their sons a sweet victory.
4. Rome—Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson
Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson welcome baby Rome in January, sweetly referring to him as “Rolly Polly Olly.” Since Rome’s birth, the proud parents have been generously sharing some of his adorable moments on social media. There’s no denying, their baby is becoming a spitting image of his dad each day.
5. Nikita—Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov
Calling Nikita’s arrival as a perfect timing, Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov welcomed their baby girl this May. According to Karagach, they’ve been wanting to expand their family since they got married. Hence, even though their pregnancy was a surprise, they accepted the news with so much joy and excitement.
6. Zane—Sharna Burgess
Sharna Burgess gave birth to her first child, Zane, with fiancé Brian Austin Green, in June 2022. When asked about her plans to have another baby, the DWTS pro candidly admitted that she isn’t certain yet. This answer is totally understandable as she’s navigating a blended family alongside Green and his other kids.
7. Olivia and Zlata—Gleb Savchenko
Gleb Savchenko shares daughters, 12-year-old Olivia and five-year-old Zlata with his ex-wife Elena Samodanova. Amid their divorce in October 2021, the DWTS pro shared that co-parenting with Samodanova was “really hard to do.” Nonetheless, they’ve agreed that they are “not going to speak about anything negative in front of the kids.”
8. Theo Gabriel—Karina Smirnoff
During the spring of 2020, Karina Smirnoff welcomed her first born, Theo Gabriel. According to a source during that time, the professional choreographer is “already head over heels in love” with Theo. Smirnoff revealed that she’s expecting her baby and was “super excited to start a new chapter in my life.”
9. Daniel and Jonny—Louis van Amstel
Louis van Amstel and ex-husband Josh Lancaster adopted their two sons from the foster system. The estranged couple first welcomed Daniel from Colorado in 2019, then adopted Jonny from Nevada in 2020. While the two aren’t biological siblings, Amstel stated that the boys have become tightly knitted brothers after living under the same roof.
10. Zaia, Maddo, and Weslie—Allison Holker
Allison Holker and Stephen “tWitch” Boss shared three children: Weslie, Maddox and Zaia. Previously, Holker and her kids celebrated their first Thanksgiving since Boss’ death. The group played various games, went on a sing-along, and posing for photo ops.
11. Haven Mar and Hudson Robert—Kym Johnson
Since falling in love after meeting on Dancing With The Stars, Kym Johnson and partner Robert Herjavec have nurtured a family together. In 2018, the couple welcomed twins Haven Mae and Hudson Robert. In December 2017, the couple revealed that they were expecting two babies, sharing an ultrasound photo of one of her unborn children flashing a thumbs-up gesture.
