Meet the Cline Twins, TikTok Stars Bringing a Surprising Talent to ‘AGT’

The Cline Twins might be one of America’s Got Talent Season 17’s most unique acts. Connor and Carson Cline are 16-year-old identical twin brothers from Ontario who perform hockey tricks. They were featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019.
The Cline Twins Do Hockey Tricks on TikTok
According to the twins’ website, they’ve been pursuing their talent for almost a decade, and they first started posting on social media in 2014. Connor and Carson are from Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. In 2019, they were featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The twins were just 13 years old at the time, and they told the host that they would be showing off “hockey tricks.” DeGeneres didn’t seem to know quite what they meant, but she soon understood when Connor and Carson started spinning their hockey sticks and using them to catch the pucks in the air.
Since then, the Cline Twins have acquired a following on social media. They have over 60,000 followers on TikTok, and over 40,000 followers on Instagram. They post videos showing off various tricks, including one where they balance bottles of maple syrup on their hockey sticks.
The brothers also sell clothing on their website that promotes their motto, “Be different and stay determined.” They explain that they hope to show people “that anything is possible and you can do anything you put your mind to.”

The Pair Is Auditioning for AGT Season 17
“We’ve been trying to get on the show forever,” Carson told local news about being on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019. “It’s literally been our dream forever.”
Now the brothers are fulfilling a new dream by auditioning for America’s Got Talent Season 17. As they wrote on TikTok to promote their upcoming appearance on the show this week, “another dream has came to life.”
What will the judges think of the Cline Twins’ hockey tricks? Will they impress Simon Cowell like they impressed DeGeneres? We’ll find out when their audition airs this Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC.
