‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 17 Sneak Peek: First Look at the Acts Auditioning

The May 31 premiere of America’s Got Talent season 17 is right around the corner. As anticipation racks up for the series, here’s a first look at the auditioning acts. These contestants have come from far and wide for a chance to win the $1 million prize.
Here’s a First Look At the America’s Got Talent Season 17 Contestants We Know So Far:
1. D’Art Espectáculos
These artists have dedicated over 15 years of their life to the arts of the circus. Their group appears to include dancers, jugglers, sway pole artists, acrobats and even more.
2. Mayyas Dance Crew
A familiar Got Talent crew is set to appear on the AGT stage. Mayyas Dance Crew originally appeared as a Golden Buzzer recipient on Arab’s Got Talent in 2019. After appearing on that series they were featured on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in the same year. In 2022, they’re bringing their artistic dances to the American stage.
3. Celia Muñoz
Got Talent España winner Celia Muñoz is a ventriloquist who shows off her talent of Opera singing on the stage. Her performances combine illusionism with the classic art of ventriloquism.
4. Coronado Cougarettes
This high school dance team is ready to bring their talent to the national stage. Ahead of AGT the Coronado Cougarettes are three time Jazz National Champions. They also compete in pom pom competitions.
5. Richie Joel
Richie Joel is a singer with an extremely broad range. Within his show reel he features clips from theatrical performances, as well as pop based performances. It seems like he will perform pop music on the AGT stage.
6. Henry and Klauss
This illusionist pair is considered the greatest in Latin America. Their performances make you question the unimaginable. In 2019 they beat the World Record for longest public levitation time.
7. Yeeremy Lugo and Stefanny Moreno
These dance partners perform the salsa and have won awards separately ahead of the series. Yeeremy is a three-time Festival Mundial de Salsa Winner, while Stefanny is a four-time World Salsa Champion.
8. Waffle Double Dutch
Waffle Double Dutch is a Japanese double dutch crew featuring three members, Tatsuya, Daichi, Taisuke. Ahead of AGT Waffle is a two-time double dutch contest world champion.
9. The Pack Drumline
The Pack Drumline is one of the biggest dynamic entertainment groups in Chicago. They’ve been seen on Windy City Live, WGN Chicago, in Essence Magazine, and on FOX’s show Empire. The Pack Drumline is also the official drumline for: the basketball team Chicago Sky, the University of Illinois Chicago, Northeastern Illinois University, and more.
10. Marcus Terell
This singer was first season on the AGT stage in 2009 with his backup singers, The Serenades. After almost 13 years, he’s ready for redemption. During this previous season, he made it to the quarterfinals in front of judges Sharon Osbourne, David Hasselhoff, and Piers Morgan.
11. Jack Grady
This magician recently went viral on TikTok for his talent and is ready to bring it to the national stage. While some may expect a card trick or two, Jack’s content is never entirely serious. He prides himself in being a comedy based magician.
12. John Glenn Varsity Pompon
This Michigan based high school dance team previously went viral on Facebook from their Pitbull inspired Mid American High Kick Championship 2021 routine. Outside of that championship, the team has been crowned the Mid American Pompon Class B State Champions in 1994, 2004, 2014, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
13. Wolves Academy
This Greece based gymnastics group was founded in 2000 by their current coach, Olympia Dragouni. Their group specializes on performances including theatrical and emotional choregraphies, they combine artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics and acro-dance to create their on stage act.
14. Jessica Fishenfeld
This contestant is a jack of all trades to the bare eye, her Instagram shows that she’s an opera singer, actress, fitness guru, and aerialist. While all of these talents are clear through social media, we can assume she’s showing off her singing talents on the stage. Before the series she made her Off-Broadway debut in Das Barbecü as Brünnhilde.
