Meet ‘AGT’s Powerhouse Country Sister Duo, Presley and Taylor
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Presley and Taylor may not entirely be strangers in the music business, but they definitely have bigger dreams to achieve. Wishing to prove their vocal force, this Nashville-based music duo is gracing the America’s Got Talent stage with their seasoned and sensational harmonies.
Presley and Taylor are Nashville Music Favorites
Hailing from a small town in Connecticut, Presley and Taylor grew up listening to music. Their grandfather used to be a part of the United States Navy, surrounded by a bunch of people from the south. In turn, he brought this to the household, influencing young Presley and Taylor to appreciate the magic of country music.
“It’s so unexpected, two girls from Connecticut singing country,” Taylor said. “But it’s our roots — it’s who we are.”
According to their website bio, the sister duo possesses a “rare maturity for an act barely in their twenties, with a strong work ethic to match.” True enough, over years of being in the country music business, they have been one of Nashville’s favorites.Â
Presley and Taylor have collaborated with big names like Old Dominion, Martina McBride, Sammy Kershaw, Jimmie Allen and many others. It’s thus no shock that this music duo has already attracted a huge fan base in their town.
The Duo Has Recorded Several Songs Ahead of AGT 2023
Before the sister duo decided to join America’s Got Talent, Presley and Taylor had already kicked off their music legacy. Since 2017, the Nashville-based sibling pair has been releasing music of their own.
They began their journey with their debut song, “Heart Over Mind,” followed by another single, “Everybody Wanna Be Us.” In 2020, industry veteran James Stroud betted on their potential, he signed them into his White Mustang label.
Upon joining the recording label, Presley and Taylor’s music managed to rank in Spotify editorial playlists. Particularly, their singles have been visible in New Boots, Wild Country, Breakout Country, Next From Nashville, and a lot more.
With their promising record in the music industry, impressing America’s Got Talent judges will probably be easy. To witness their performance on the show, catch Presley and Taylor on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
