Mauricio Umansky Lost 14 Pounds In The First Month On DWTS
During an interview, Mauricio shared that his fitness journey had taken a positive turn since he began his ballroom journey. His enthusiasm for his new physique has been evident, since he’s been willing to proudly display it during performances.
“I got back from Italy, and this workout, I’ve lost a lot. Like 13 or 14 pounds in a month, so it’s awesome.” Mauricio said. “I’m 53 years old and not bad for 53, man. So, you gotta show it.”
Mauricio has been seen confidently shedding his shirt, showcasing his slimmer and fitter figure. His daughters, Farrah, Alexia, Sophia, and Portia, have been entirely supportive of their father’s transformation.
Mauricio’s participation in DWTS has also been a family affair, with his wife, Kyle Richards, and their children cheering him on. The couple’s relationship has faced its challenges, as they publicly acknowledged in July, but they remain committed to working on their marriage.
“We’re trying to keep it private, but at the end of the day, we’re not private people. We’re public figures, and the reality is we are separated right now.” Mauricio said. “We are going through a really difficult time. We are still working on our marriage, and we’re not in a rush.”

Amid the ongoing speculation surrounding Richards’ relationship with Morgan Wade, Mauricio has found himself at the center of dating rumors. Mauricio recently made headlines when he was spotted enjoying a dinner outing with Leslie Bega, a fellow real estate agent and actor.
Bega is known for her work in television, including roles in Head of the Class, The Sopranos, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigations. Their friendship raised eyebrows when Bega was seen supporting Mauricio at DWTS in October 2023.
The pair, along with Mauricio’s parents, Dr. Estella Sneider and Eduardo Umansky, shared a delightful dinner at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills, where Estella posted a group photo on Instagram. Bega was seated beside Mauricio, her arm draped around his shoulder, and they all smiled for the camera.
While neither Mauricio nor Bega have addressed the dating rumors, a source revealed that the two are not romantically involved. However, it’s also said that it’s Mauricio’s father who may be linked to Bega.
