A whole new group of six celebrities was introduced this week on The Masked Singer. The Mouse, in particular, had the panelist and audience losing it! This iconic voice has to be a legend. But who is it?
Here are the clues and predictions for the Mouse so far!
Clues On ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 3
In The Masked Singer Mouse’s clues, she says she’s “small and cute” but her presence is “larger than life.” She is seen as a cheerleader using a megaphone. Mouse says she has always been a leader in her field. She claims she “wrote the playbook,” and a football play is shown called the “BANG BANG FORMATION” with East written in a different color than the other directions (orange, as opposed to blue). “WARRIORS” football players wear the numbers “19” and “79.” She “loves having a walk-on role to play.” Mouse mentions she “never accepts anything less than gold” while gold pom-poms are shown.
Popular Guesses for The Mouse on ‘The Masked Singer’
Nicole predicted the Mouse is Darlene Love because of the “Leader of the Field” clue. Robin said it might be Dionne Warwick. Ken went with Maya Rudolph, saying he thought it was an impression of a legend. The Internet seems to have a consensus on this one, guessing Dionne Warwick. But other names thrown out have been Tina Turner and Gloria Gaynor.
Our Prediction For The Mouse on ‘The Masked Singer’
This is another celebrity that panelists were instantly drawn to. And if you know her voice, you know The Masked Singer Mouse is none other than…Dionne Warwick!
Again, if the voice alone doesn’t convince you, here are the clues decoded.
First of all, the “BANG BANG FORMATION” the Mouse displays is referencing Dionne’s song, “Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.” We also saw an East direction written in orange when the play was shown. Well, Dionne grew up in East Orange, New Jersey. When she mentions “writing the playbook,” it could be referring to her songwriting career. Dionne is 79 years old, which explains the “79” on the jersey. She has been active in music since she was 19, which also explains the “19” jersey. They also say “Warriors,” which could be a shoutout to her fans.
Next, the “walk-on role” the Mouse referenced could be talking about Dionne’s numerous acting cameos or her song “Walk On By.” Finally, the gold pom-poms are a nod to a TV special called Solid Gold that Dionne hosted and wrote the theme song for. They could also be for her Gold albums (she has four RIAA Gold studio albums)!
