Clues on The Masked Singer Season 8
When it comes to clues, The Masked Singer kept things pretty limited going into the new season. For Sir Bug A Boo, his “mask-ray” clue on Instagram was a bow tie under his costume, implying this could be someone who is known for wearing a bow tie. When he took the stage, we got the clue that he “won’t change.”
In the clue package, we really got a better idea of who Sir Bug A Boo is. They started with a wolf howling and thunder. Sir Bug A Boo claims that he’s “used to spooky sounds.” A bellhop brings out a cart with a film reel on it. Sir Bug A Boo said “it started when I was thrown into competition with the most monstrous names in the industry and was told only one of us would get out with a job.” The judges pointed out that he said “get out,” like the Jordan Peele movie.
Sir Bug A Boo rings a bell twice, then is brought a red phone with “???” on it. He never dreamed he would get the call, but he did! And that role earned a “permanent place in pop culture.” One of the men in black is seen writing with a pen and paper. Sir Bug A Boo admits that he’s scared of the dark, but putting his fears aside to smoke the competition! After his performance, we learned that Sir Bug A Boo has jammed together with Nicole Scherzinger before.

Jenny pieced together some Ghostbusters clues and thought it might be Ernie Hudson. Ken predicted it was Jordan Peele based on the clues. Nicole guessed that it could be Lil Rel, who she did Drop the Mic with, or Randy Jackson, who is no stranger to competition.
