Mark Ballas Announces Birth of Baby Son with Wife BC Jean

Former Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Mark Ballas took to social media on Tuesday to announce the birth of his baby son. Ballas and his wife BC Jean welcomed their first child together last month. His name is Banksi Wylde Ballas.
Mark Ballas Announces Birth of Baby Son Banksi
On Tuesday, Ballas posted a photo of Banksi on Instagram. He and Jean can be seen holding the baby’s hand as he rests in a blanket. The post’s caption shares the baby’s full name and reveals that he was born on November 5.
Fans wouldn’t have been aware that Jean had given birth, since Ballas continued to post videos after Banksi was born showing Jean pregnant. Not long after Ballas posted the announcement, Dancing with the Stars shared the news during the Season 32 finale.
After Ballas performed an amazing routine with his Season 31 partner Charli D’Amelio (with whom he won the Mirrorball trophy), co-host Julianne Hough congratulated him on becoming a dad. The crowd cheered for him as he smiled.

Ballas’ Co-Stars Congratulated Him
A few of Ballas’ DWTS co-stars shared their joy over the news. D’Amelio commented on Ballas’ Instagram post on Tuesday, writing, “CONGRATULATIONS!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!!!!” She added several red heart emojis.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba also commented, writing, “Congratulations Mark! It was awesome to see you tonight but to also learn that you and BC are now proud parents was such an incredible highlight!”
Julianne Hough wrote, “I love you Banksi.” Former pro Sharna Burgess complimented the baby’s name and wrote, “So perfect, congratulations you two.” Another former pro, Linsday Arnold, wrote, “The sweetest fam I love you guys.”
Ballas’ mother Shirley commented on Jean’s post sharing the news, writing, “He is the best most beautiful baby ever. We are all blessed.”
