Maksim and Val Chmerkovskiy Collaborate on Wine Tasting
According to the event’s website, SAVOR After Hours will include “an electrifying blend of dance, music, close-up magic, illusions and more.” In addition to the Chmerkovskiy brothers, it will also feature “special guests from Hollywood and Broadway.”
“Basically it’s a different take on wine tasting and what that experience can be, because wine has an incredible culture,” Val told People of the upcoming show. “Part of our performance has always felt like it’s taking care of [and] educating our audience. It’s taking them on a journey with us. It feels like this intimate dinner party more than a ‘sit down and watch us on stage’ type of thing.”
Guests will reportedly be served five different pours of wine which will be connected to the performances. As Val explained, “We describe the wine you’re tasting through dance, music, and magic.”
Tickets to the Show Are on Sale Soon
On Wednesday, Maksim and Val shared a teaser for the upcoming show on Instagram. The event kicks off on June 3, with tickets going on sale to the public on March 31. However, you can join a waitlist to get pre-sale access to tickets.
Tickets for SAVOR After Hours start at $49. Although the event is themed around wine, all ages are welcome at the shows. However, it’s recommended for those ages 14 and up, and only those 21 and over will be served alcohol with valid ID.
The brothers also teased to People that their talented wives will also make appearances in the show. Maks is married to Peta Murgatroyd (who’s currently pregnant with their second child), and Val is married to Jenna Johnson (who recently gave birth to their first child).
