Magician Mat Franco Is Returning To ‘America’s Got Talent’ To Perform At Results Show

There’s definitely something to look forward to during Wednesday nights results show on America’s Got Talent. The mesmerizing magician Mat Franco is making his return to the show for a performance that is sure to knock your socks off.
Mat Franco Showed Off A New Side Of Magic On ‘America’s Got Talent’
We first met Mat when he wowed the judges with his close-up magic in season nine of America’s Got Talent. He first got into magic by watching magicians on television, dreaming of one day following in their footsteps. Mat dominated the competition every single week, finding new ways to amp up his act and wow the audience. Judge Mel B even called Mat her favorite act of all time. He was the first magician to ever win the show. Mat immediately began a household name on the Las Vegas Strip.
He then got his own primetime TV special, Mat Franco’s Got Magic, which just goes to show you just how captivating his magic skills are. He is currently headlining his own show, MAGIC REINVENTED NIGHTLY at The LINQ Hotel + Experience in Las Vegas. It was named “Best Show” by Las Vegas Weekly. The show was voted “Best Magic Show” twice in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards. It really has gotten rave reviews from a number of critics and fans alike. So much so, they renamed the LINQ Theater that he performs at into The Mat Franco Theater in 2017.
Just recently in 2020, Caesars Entertainment announced he signed a new deal that included a 5-year extension of his residency show. He also has a YouTube channel and just started making TikToks because the coronavirus pandemic has forced him to postpone most of his recent shows.

Mat Is Returning To ‘AGT’ With A Big Performance
Mat recently posted on Instagram that he was invited back to perform on America’s Got Talent for the live results show. It will be his first time performing in front of people live in over more than 150 days. The coronavirus pandemic has not only changed the format of ‘AGT,’ but also the lives of acts so used to wowing crowds on the Vegas strip. Mat and his wife showed off their stylish face masks in a cute selfie at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California. This is now where the America’s Got Talent live shows are being filmed as the production has taken social distancing precautions amid the pandemic.
