Madison VanDenburg Sings An Encore On ‘Live With Kelly & Ryan’ Thanks To Fan Votes

Madison VanDenburg may have placed third in this season of American Idol, but the fans still love her. She was chosen as the Top 10 contestant viewers most wanted to see perform an encore on Live with Kelly and Ryan this week.
Madison Performs An Encore
We first told you about this competition last week. It’s the second year the talk show has asked fans to vote on which eliminated contestant they wanted to see perform again. Earlier this week, hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest announced that Madison had won the most votes.
Madison appeared in the studio to sing “Fallin'” by Alicia Keys, which she previously performed in the Top 14 on American Idol. She was backed up by a pianist, and as expected, she sounded fantastic. Check it out below.
What’s Next For Madison?
Kelly and her husband Mark Consuelos (who was filling in for Ryan) were blown away by the performance and acted like proud parents during their interview afterward. They couldn’t believe she’s only 17 years old.
Madison talked about her upcoming prom, saying that American Idol fed her so well that she was afraid to try on the dress she’d chosen before the live shows. “They gave me Spanx, so hopefully,” she joked. Kelly told her she’s “perfection.”

Madison said the show taught her “how to be a better stage performer” and helped her improve her singing technique. We can’t wait to see where that talent takes her in the future.
