Did American Idol judge Luke Bryan recently break his finger at an amusement park? If you ask him, the answer is no. But his wife Caroline tells a different story. The disagreement was aired on social media over the weekend for fans to laugh over.
Luke Bryan Denies Breaking Finger at Amusement Park
On Friday, Caroline posted a family photo from Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio, in front of the Steel Vengeance roller coaster. As she wrote in the caption, “Another adventure in the books!”
Caroline added, “Luke broke a finger and I twisted another ankle…pretty much a normal day for us!” She added a photo of Bryan carrying her, presumably after hurting her ankle. Bryan’s fingers appear to be okay in the shot.
The country singer later took to his own Instagram account to deny his wife’s story, saying to camera, “I did not break my finger. And I did not break my finger at a roller coaster park. My finger’s not broken. Please stop reporting that it’s broken.”

Friends and Family Don’t Believe Bryan’s Claim
Despite Bryan’s denial that he broke his finger, a few notable commenters expressed their skepticism. That includes his wife Caroline, who wrote, “….you got in Bo’s way. Admit it.” (Bo is the couple’s oldest son.) She also posted a facepalm emoji.
Fellow American Idol judge Katy Perry also chimed in, writing, “show us or we don’t believe you.” Season 16 Idol winner Maddie Poppe wrote, “But you DID break it at an amusement park.”
Meanwhile, country star Jason Aldean found Caroline’s story totally believable, commenting, “I mean it’s not that much of a stretch @lukebryan. We all [know] u are accident prone.” He added three cry-laughing emojis.
Bryan is currently performing on his Raised Up Right Tour before his annual Farm Tour begins in September. He’ll also be returning for Season 21 of American Idol.
