Louis Walsh Said There’s No Hard Feelings Between Him And Simon Cowell

Louis Walsh was on The X Factor UK from the beginning of the show…until this year. In order to boost the show’s flagging ratings, Simon changed the judge’s panel. That meant getting rid of Louis and Sharon Osbourne. Sharon was not pleased and went on an angry rant about getting fired. But Louis isn’t as fiery as Sharon. He’s taking it all in stride.

Some people might be pissed at losing an awesome job like being a judge on The X Factor. I mean, it’s a ton of money to sit in a chair and listen to awesome singers. Sure, the shooting hours are long but that’s a small price to pay. Louis Walsh has been in the music business for over 40 years and his specialty was boy bands. This makes sense as the show produced One Direction. The change in the judge’s panel was Simon’s choice. But Louis understands that it’s business and not personal. Louis said,

“I love X Factor, it’s been really good to me. Me and Simon are still good friends. He is the best at what he does – he knows what he is doing. I’ve been watching it, it is a good show. I’ve been keeping an eye on Brendan the Irish guy… Robbie is doing great too. I am in a really good place as I am back to my old job. I had a great time on the show but I’m now doing Ireland’s Got Talent.I am in Dublin, Westlife are back… It’s good.”

That’s good that he’s staying busy with Irish AGT. I imagine that the Irish version of AGT must be bonkers. Can you imagine? I’ve been to Ireland and there are plenty of weirdoes there. In a good way, of course. I’m glad that Louis Walsh has landed on his feet. I felt bad when he was fired.
