Live Bird Flies Into ‘AGT’ Auditions Ahead of Group Golden Buzzer
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Season 16 AGT auditions have been full of…birds. First, we had Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer, Nightbirde perform in a jam-packed episode. In tonight’s AGT episode, we saw a trumpet fly through the air like a bird. This all led up to an actual live bird flying around the theater. It was just the intro to the moment the judges decided to make history on the show with the first group Golden Buzzer.
Bird Flies Around the ‘AGT’ Theater Before Victory Brinker Steals the Show
AGT always continues to surprise audiences with fun animal acts. The funny thing is, the live bird featured on our television screens tonight was not actually a part of an animal act. It was more of an uninvited guest. The bird flew across the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles like the speed of light. It perched on top of one of the landings in the theater.
All of the judges were totally shocked that a live bird was just randomly flying around the theater. Howie Mandel looked mesmerized as the bird flew just inches above his head. Cowell called this whole experience a “lucky sign.” The appearance of the bird proved to be just that.
Victory Brinker made her way onto the stage just as the bird was becoming the star of the show. The 9-year-old opera singer was about to get her big break with a huge honor from all of the judges. She wowed everyone in the theater with her performance of “Juliet’s Waltz.” The judges had a little discussion with Terry Crews before they decided to hit the group Golden Buzzer.
Victory came out of her audition victorious and fans are now left to wonder if the bird was actually a good luck charm after all. The pint-sized powerhouse is already getting a ton of love online. Many have compared Victory to a Disney princess who sings to birds.
“She attracted a bird with her voice, that’s Disney princess level skills,” one AGT viewer wrote on Twitter.
