Lee was voted through to the Semifinals by the Fantasy League audience after his first performance. His Semifinals performance earned the Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel, who stole him from Simon Cowell’s dream team.
In an early release clip from the Finals, Lee can be heard singing a unique rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen while playing the piano. Lee definitely put his own spin on the iconic song, earning a standing ovation from the judges.
The song choice is a slight departure for Lee, who performed two of his own original songs earlier in the season. First, he sang his song “Change” during the preliminary round. Then in the Semifinals, he sang “Journey of You and I,” dedicated to his mom Tina.

What Did the Judges Think of His Performance?
Mandel said that Lee “Kodi-fied” the classic song, telling the singer, “You’re a star. You always deliver. I’m so proud that I could be the mentor of your dream team.”
Meanwhile, Mel B told Lee that it was “a good song choice,” but she emphasized how much she prefers to hear him sing his own original music. Heidi Klum seemed to agree, as she described Lee as “so very talented,” adding how much she loved his original songs.
Cowell, Lee’s former mentor, emphasized that Lee always shows off his “own take” on the songs he performs. He told Lee, “The Final just wouldn’t be the same without you in it.”
The two-episode Fantasy League finale begins Monday at 8/7c on NBC and concludes the next week, as the winner of the $250,000 grand prize is announced.
