Kenedi Anderson Reunites with Fellow ‘American Idol’ Stars for Concert, Photoshoot
American Idol Season 20 Platinum Ticket winner Kenedi Anderson recently reunited with two fellow singers from the show, Emyrson Flora and Paige Fish. The trio performed a concert together earlier this month and even posed for a magazine shoot.
Kenedi Anderson Reunites with American Idol Friends
Kenedi appeared to be a frontrunner when she auditioned for American Idol earlier this year, earning a Platinum Ticket from the judges. However, she withdrew from the competition after the Hawaii round, citing “personal reasons.”
During her time on the show, 18-year-old Kenedi formed a friendship with fellow contestants Emyrson Flora, 17, and Paige Fish, 16. Although Paige was eliminated early in the competition, Emyrson ended up making it to the Top 10.
“It’s really rare to find people in your day to day life who love music as much as you,” Kenedi told Our Era magazine about her friendship with Emyrson and Paige. Emyrson added that she “kind of felt home for the first time when I was with Kenedi and Paige.”
The Singers Performed a Concert Together
As well as reuniting for the magazine interview, the three young singers also performed a concert earlier this month in Paige’s home state of Utah. They took the stage at the Velour in Provo for a nearly sold-out show.
The three singers told Our Era that they’re all working on new music. As Kenedi shared with the magazine, “I’ve been writing some of my favorite songs I’ve ever done and I can’t wait to share them with the world.”
Kenedi graduated high school earlier this year and teased on Instagram in June that she was in the recording studio. We look forward to hearing what she comes up with.
