Kelly Clarkson Announces Upcoming New Music

On Thursday, Kelly Clarkson took to Instagram to share what appears to be the cover art for her upcoming new single, “I’d Be Lyin’.” The image features a shot of Clarkson looking at the camera while wearing a bold red lip and a casual shirt.

“New Single?” Clarkson wrote in the post’s caption, along with an eyes emoji. She added the date July 17, telling fans, “Pre-save link in bio!” This is Clarkson’s first new music release since last year’s single “Where Have You Been.”

Fans in the comments expressed their excitement over the news, with one person writing, “Please be Pop Rock, Please be Pop Rock.” Another fan commented, “I’d be lyin if I sad I hadn’t been waiting a hot minute for new music.”

According to Parade, some fans got to hear “I’d Be Lyin'” early during the taping of Clarkson’s final talk show episode. They praised the new song.
