The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson is gearing up to return to her Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The singer first kicked off the “Studio Sessions” concert series last year.
Kelly Clarkson Returning to Las Vegas Residency
Kelly Clarkson’s “Studio Sessions” residency at Caesars Palace is scheduled to return on July 17. The singer finished her last string of shows at the venue in November of last year. This new series of concerts will continue through August 15.
Clarkson originally kicked off the residency last July, having postponed the first two scheduled shows to protect her voice. She performed several times throughout July and August, with a few more shows in November of that year.
Those November dates acted as replacements for several shows Clarkson had to postpone in August, due to the illness and eventual death of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The couple shared two children together.
The idea of Clarkson’s residency is that she’s recreated the feeling of a recording studio on stage, as she performs various hits from throughout her career. Previously, Clarkson performed a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
