Kelly Clarkson Hints At Celebrities Who Were Rude to Her During ‘American Idol’

Kelly Clarkson was recently a guest on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. During a game of “Plead the Fifth,” Clarkson hinted at some of the celebrities who were rude to her during her American Idol days.
Kelly Clarkson Hints at Rude Celebrities on Talent Shows
In 2021, Clarkson revealed on her talk show that when she was in the Top 3 on American Idol back in 2002, some people were “really mean to us because we’re from a talent show and it was the first season.” She called it a “horrible experience.”
When Andy Cohen asked her to name one of the celebrities who was mean to her, Clarkson chose to plead the fifth. However, she did offer a few clues about the identities of the rude stars, and it’s pretty ironic.
“But I will say a lot of them ended up on shows like the one I’m from,” Clarkson said. “It’s funny what money does.”
That’s sure to have fans speculating about what shows she might be referring to. Was it someone who judged on American Idol? A fellow coach on The Voice? Or was it someone on a more obscure talent show?

Clarkson Can’t Name Any Recent Idol Winners
Another question Cohen asked Clarkson was whether she could name an American Idol winner from the last five years. The singer had a candid response, saying simply, “Oh, sh*t.” She started trying to defend herself before racking her brain for an answer.
For a moment, Clarkson seemed like she had thought of one, but then she changed her mind. Hopefully, the singer wouldn’t have such a hard time naming a recent winner of The Voice, considering she’s coached some of them.
Clarkson ended her game of “Plead the Fifth” by talking about two times she had food poisoning. And yes, that includes the time she pooped in a bucket at the Staples Center.
