Even a pop megastar like Kelly Clarkson can have an intense fangirl moment. The “Since U Been Gone” singer recently shared a cute fangirl moment while filming her syndicated talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.

In one episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the “Breakaway” singer got candid about her admiration for actress Meg Ryan. Before letting the You’ve Got Mail star take the stage, Clarkson first showed a clip of her priceless reaction after knowing that Ryan will be a guest on the show.
“Alright, though I’m very excited about my first guests, one of them has been here before and is an absolute favorite on the show and of mine. But the other has never been here, and I didn’t know she was coming until I had to read this promo line,” she said.
The video then transitioned to a previous filming setup where Clarkson was reading the script from the teleprompter. After mentioning Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, Beauty and the Beast actor Josh Gad as the upcoming guests, the pop singer had a hilarious, shocked reaction upon seeing Ryan’s name on the line.
“I’m very excited,” she said. “I’m going to be cool about it. I already wrote her a card. I was like, ‘You’re not going to know I’m a fan.’ It’s fine.”
The short clip then ended with Clarkson giving a coy yet funny dance, meanwhile, she noted that that she must “prepare” for the exciting episode.
However, during the interview, Clarkson was still evidently panicking, in a good way. Ryan and David Duchovny appeared on the show to celebrate their newest rom-com What Happens Later. The trio discussed the process of making the film and how the pandemic motivated Ryan to create the screenplay.
Fans Have Been Praising Her Outfits
With The Kelly Clarkson Show’s recent move from Los Angeles to New York City, Clarkson can be seen happier and more comfortable on TV. Yet, fans are not only noticing her elated mental spirit but also her more fashionable outfits.
“She has looked amazing all season. She always looks beautiful but the styling is ON POINT right now,” one fan wrote.

Aside from the compliments, the singer has also been receiving praises for her obvious weight loss. According to a source, Clarkson is thrilled to flaunt her slimmed figure after her public divorce from Brandon Blackstock in 2020.
“Kelly says getting back at Brandon wasn’t her motivation,” the source said. “But deep down it does give her a smug sense of satisfaction!”
Furthermore, the source stated that people’s flattery over her body transformation has really been giving the singer a “nice ego boost.” Now, Clarkson is reportedly opting for more fitted outfits.
“She’s having a lot of fun with her clothes,” the source added. “She’s gone from covering up and camouflaging her waistline to showing off her figure.”
