Camilla Cabello has recently had her ultimate fangirl moment with the world’s best soccer player — Lionel Messi. The pop superstar is among the flock of celebrities who came to watch the athlete’s second game with Inter Miami last Tuesday night.

In an Instagram post from July 26, 2023, the “Havana” hitmaker expressed her excitement over the unforgettable moment. Reliving her ecstatic memory at at DRV PNK Stadium, Cabello especially emphasized Messi’s humble character.
“Fangirl mode was fully unlocked when I saw @leomessi – obviously the GOAT, but also so kind and generous with his energy,” she wrote. “thank you @davidgrutman for an experience I’ll never forget ! And thank you @davidbeckham and @victoriabeckham! IT WAS GIVING BABY PINK! MIAMI GOING UPPP.”
The pop singer uploaded a series of snaps including her wearing the star player’s No. 10 jersey. The second slide showed Messi smiling at Cabello who was adorably looking at him.
Cabello’s lucky interaction with Messi is not only a big fangirl dream come true, but also a phenomenal meetup of two stars in their respective fields. Apart from Cabello, Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Becky G, and Serena Williams also went to watch the game.
She Recently Enjoyed a Self-Care Day
On July 24, Cabello uploaded a slideshow of her refreshing self-care day in Puerto Rico. In the post, the singer can be seen skinny-dipping and bathing using well water.
Cabello also showed a snap of herself reading a book titled “The Idiot” by Elif Batuman. Moreover, it seems that she did not only attempt to read one self-help print, but two. In the sixth slide, the “Never Be The Same” perform showed a photo of the book “Quarterlife: The Search for Self in Early Adulthood” by Satya Doyle Byock.
In the same post, Cabello slightly teased a small detail about her upcoming project in the music scene. According to the singer, her mental health day serves as her free time before she gets back to the studio to work on her album.
Aside from the short caption, Cabello did not reveal any specifics about her future music release.
