Katy Perry Performs With Country Singer Darius Rucker

Record-breaking singer, songwriter, and “American Idol” judge Katy Perry lit up the stage with a world premiere broadcast performance of her song “Only Love,” from her sixth album Smile, at the 2020 AMAs. Dressed in an oversized jacket she dedicated her performance to her father while she touched our hearts with her voice.

This is her first performance after giving birth to her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom with fiancee Orlando Bloom in August this year. Teaming up with former Hootie & the Blowfish frontman, Darius Rucker for a reimagined duet we can see that the 36-year-old star is back in action!

This year marked her 10th year Anniversary since her debut performance, ” Firework” 10 year ago. She is also also a five-time AMA winner, including the American Music Award of Achievement in 2011!

Meanwhile Blinding Lights artist The Weeknd’s followed with his performance ‘Save Your Tears’ with saxophonist Kenny G right after her! Weeknd sure did catch our attention with her bandaged face during his performance.

Viewers are hooked to their seats with many performance lined up at the AMAs which includes Bad Bunny with Jhay Cortez, Billie Eilish, BTS, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez and Maluma, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, and Shawn Mendes, making for a star-studded night of music.
