Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship has been making national headlines as of recent. The pair has reportedly been dealing with stress in their relationship after Perry’s recent album, 143, flopped on the charts. Here’s what we know about Perry and Bloom’s relationship.

Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom Are “Spending Time Apart”

On Wednesday, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that Perry and Bloom are “spending time apart.” Apparently, even “their friends don’t know if they’re permanently split.”

The source later went on to confirm that the stars have broken up “a few times” over the years. Even though they’ve spent time apart, “they’ve always worked it out before.”

As more and more comes out related to the stars, it’s clear that “apart” tends to be a reoccurring thing during their relationship. In another report, the stars were said to be “spending more and more time apart,” as they’ve “grown apart.”

Apparently, Perry’s tour, and being on the road has led the couple to being apart often. This, in turn, has led to tension in the relationship.

Ahead of Perry’s album and tour, she had been a long running judge on American Idol. Since departing from the series, Perry has called it “suffocating” since she was “unable to pursue her own music projects to their full capacity.”

The Couple Has Previously Broken Up, is Engaged

For those who may not know, Bloom and Perry initially got together in 2016. THe pair parted ways just over a year later, then reconciled in February 2018. On Valentine’s day 2019 they got engaged, and soon after in August 2020, they welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove.

Aside from Daisy Dove, Bloom is also father to son, Flynn, from his three year marriage to Miranda Kerr. Before Bloom, Perry was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
