Former AGT judge Julianne Hough pulled out all the stops for her mom’s Mother’s Day gift this year. The dancer gifted her mom Marriann with a new house, and shared video of her reaction on Instagram.
Marriann looked overjoyed over the gift. Sorry, Khloe Kardashian — your weed and sex toys for mom Kris Jenner simply cannot compare to this! Check out the clips of Marriann with her present below.

“Is this your house, Mom?” Julianne asks from off camera in the cute clip. “This is my house!” Marriann replies. She hugs the vine-covered railing on the front porch before moving out to the front lawn and hugging the tree, exclaiming, “I love trees!”

Marriann also loved the rocking chairs on the porch, and said the house “could not be better.” Julianne posted a photo of her mom posing on the front steps, holding up a gift ribbon. The house is pretty picturesque — it even has a white picket fence.
In another clip, Julianne and her mom embrace and laugh, wrapping their legs around each other. They hugged for a long time, as Marriann thanked her daughter for the gift. As Julianne wrote in the caption, “My Mother has given given given….. its now her time to receive.”
Derek Hough Reacts To His Mom’s Gift
Julianne’s brother Derek Hough commented on the post, writing, “Love you momma ❤️ The care and selflessness you have shown for so many years is inspiring . You’re a light.” Her husband Brooks Laich also commented, writing, “The best thing ever!!”

And if you’re worried about Julianne breaking quarantine to hang out with her mom at her new house, have no fear. It looks like Julianne actually presented Marriann with the gift a few months ago, based on a post from International Women’s Day in March.
In the post, Julianne paid tribute to the women in her life, and included the same clip of her and her mom hugging that she posted for Mother’s Day. Considering the family may not be able to see each other now, we’re glad Julianne got the chance to present the house to her mom before this crisis began.
